Privacy Policy

Last updated October 2026

This policy covers the Peck & Plate website, app and Alexa skill. In short: we keep what's needed to run your meal plan, we don't sell it, and you can ask us to delete it anytime.

What we collect

The Peck & Plate Alexa skill

If you use the Alexa skill, Amazon sends us what you asked for (for example "what's for dinner" or "add almond milk to my list") along with an anonymous ID for your Amazon account. We never receive your name, voice recording, address or Amazon account details.

To connect Alexa to your planner, Alexa reads you a 6-digit number that you type into the app's settings. That links the anonymous ID to your Peck & Plate account so Alexa can read your meals and shopping list and add items you ask for. You can disconnect Alexa anytime in the app under Settings → Alexa, or by disabling the skill in the Alexa app.

How we use it

Only to run Peck & Plate: show your calendar, build your shopping list, add up your macros, answer your Alexa requests, and handle your subscription. We don't sell your data, share it with advertisers, or use it to show you ads.

Who else touches it

A few services help us run the app: Cloudflare (hosting and storage), Stripe (payments), our email provider (sign-in links), and our AI provider (reading photos and recipe pages). Each only gets what it needs for that job. If you connect Bushel & Tap or Hug & Harbor, they share your plan only within your own account.

Your choices

You can edit or remove anything in your plan at any time. To delete your account and everything in it, email [email protected] and we'll remove it. Peck & Plate isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
